Me: ahhh those grits were great!
Reiko: Lucky you. you were supposed to be on a diet today, right?
Me: I am on a diet... a diet of grits.
Kai: Hey mom, let's order a lot of grits from America and then can eat nothing but grits!
Me: ...I LOVE THIS BOY! IS HE GREAT OR WHAT!!
Reiko: Kai, if Daddy eats nothing but grits all day he will be fat and unhealthy.
Me: but happy! don't forget happy!
Reiko: Kai, is it okay for Daddy to be fat as long as he is happy?
Kai: Sure! He is already chubby, but he's smart!
Me: uh ....thanks?
