Shichigosan for Jaime.

In Japanese tradition, when a child is 3 (san), 5 (go), and 7(Shichi) years old, it is a time for celebration.  These were considered milestones in a child’s life because, to be honest, they had survived childhood diseases and such.  The most important is usually 5 years old and there is a formal celebration called Shichigosan.  Kai deduced that because dogs age at a faster ratio than humans, his new puppy is basically the equivalent of a five year old child, so he insisted on a Shichigosan for Jaime.  Congratulations pup.
